Where Nature, Ocean, and Mindful Living Converge

Aura Maldives is a conscious sanctuary where modern simplicity meets the living beauty of the Maldives. Rooted in respect for the ocean, the land, and the people who call these islands home, Aura invites you to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters.

Every experience is shaped with intention. Wellness, nourishment, culture, and quiet reflection come together in moments that feel effortless and deeply meaningful.

Baa Atoll: A Living Ocean Sanctuary

Aura rests within Baa Atoll, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, one of the most remarkable marine environments in the Indian Ocean.

Here, vibrant coral reefs encircle luminous lagoons where sea turtles glide, reef sharks patrol the outer reef, and manta rays gather in nearby waters. The atoll’s delicate ecosystem supports extraordinary biodiversity and remains one of the Maldives’ most treasured natural sanctuaries.

Within this living ocean landscape, every island, reef, and lagoon forms part of a carefully balanced world shaped by nature.

The Journey to Aura

Your journey begins at Velana International Airport in Malé. From here, a 30-minute seaplane flight reveals the Maldives from above, a breathtaking mosaic of coral islands scattered across turquoise waters before descending gently into Baa Atoll. Alternatively, a short domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Airport, followed by a brief boat journey across calm lagoon waters, brings you to the island.

Long before you arrive, the rhythm of the ocean has already begun to slow the world around you.

At Aura, luxury and responsibility are not opposites. They coexist beautifully.

Aura is guided by a belief that luxury should exist in harmony with nature and the culture of the islands it calls home.

Within the protected waters of Baa Atoll’s UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, sustainability shapes the island experience through mindful design, responsible sourcing, and partnerships that support local communities. Every choice is made with care, ensuring the surrounding reefs, lagoons, and wildlife remain protected for the future.

At the same time, Aura remains deeply rooted in the Maldives. Local traditions, craftsmanship, and a long-standing respect for the ocean continue to inspire the island’s design, philosophy, and daily life.

In a place as precious as Baa Atoll, stewardship is not simply a practice. It becomes a way of living.
